Angela was my whole life, from the first day we got together and still is.
I first met Angela when I was driving taxi's about 17 years ago. She was working at the
Aberdour Hotel. And I seemed to be her prefered taxi driver, probably something to do with all the
cheap fares she got, and the fares she never paid.
Anyway I had been ferrying Angela here there and everywhere for quite a long time and at a huge cost
to me its got to be mentioned lol.
I really liked Angela but I was married so I never persued her to that extent, Then on New Years eve
1992 I had picked Angela and her boyfriend from the pub and took them home. Angelas boyfriend got
out the cab and walked away, then to my amazement Angela leaned over and kissed me "I've
been wanting to do that a long time" she said.
I was dumbstruck, it took a few seconds for it to sink in, but I'm pretty sure that was the
moment i fell in love.
Then the guilt set in, "Your married" I told myself, so for quite a few weeks i
wouldn't pick Angela up, but i was longing to see her again. Then one night she went into our
taxi office and demanded that i come and pick her up (when Angela wants something she usually gets
it). So I did, she told me how she felt, I told her how i felt and I moved in with her a couple of
months latter. And thats been a decision I have never regreted.
My love for Angela has grown stronger and stronger every day and she made me the happiest man on
this planet when she decided it was time for us to get married, and we did 16 years latter on the
20/07/2007.
Angela you are my love, my Life and my Best Friend. I just cant imagine life without you.
